Principal Dentist  (BDS, BOH)

Dr Yan Chen excels at helping nervous and anxious young patients overcome their fear of dental treatment. Her passion for dentistry is all about patients receiving the optimal dental health care and achieving the best cosmetic result to boost confidence and happiness.

Dr. Yan Chen graduated in Dentistry from Sun Yat-sen University in China in 1998.  Yan then completed a Bachelor of Oral Health and a degree in Dentistry at Otago University.  Yan is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

When not at work, Yan enjoys bush walking with friends and family as well as painting and cooking.

He took postgraduate diploma training in implantology at Charles Sturt University in 2014 and his special interests include: cosmetic and conservative dentistry, advanced periodontal treatment, oral rehabilitation such as all-on-4, implant anchored denture, same day tooth replacement. Above all, he’s listening to the patients and meets their needs.

Out of dentistry, Henry enjoys staying with his family, reading, traveling, and playing chess
